An Everglades Providence Review

I’ve had the time to read frequently since I’ve been living in Africa.  My reading tastes have ventured far and wide, but I try to come back to my first love (besides my wife): Florida.  I am about to begin Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Cross Creek.  I’ve been to Cross Creek and am looking forward to reading her version of the little idyllic town set upon a lake in North Central Florida.

Another author I haven’t had the pleasure of reading is Marjory Stoneman Douglas, who is probably best know for The Everglades: River of Grass.  Well, now a book has been written about this environmentalist: An Everglades Providence.  I haven’t had the chance to read this behemoth of a book.  But there are folks who have, so if you’re interested, here they are:

If you’ve had a chance to read this book, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
