New Conservationists

I travel about 45 minutes to work every day.  When I’m not going back and forth to work, I’m in my car going to some outdoor adventure, a Buffet concert, or back and forth to Lakeland to visit the folks.  This gives me plenty of time to listen to podcasts.

One that I have grown very fond of is Dirtbag Diaries.  Fitz Cahall moderates various discussions about the outdoors.  The one I listened to today was called New Conservationists.  These were folks who wanted to do some good for the earth in neat and unique ways.

Lin Alder was one of the people who Cahall interviewed.  He was a photog who morphed into a outdoor lobbyist.  His way of saying how we need to continue to evolve in life was a nice reframe for me as I seem lost from time to time after returning from Africa.

Have any of you listened to Dirtbag Diaries?  What about New Conservationists?

I have a half an hour drive each way … assuming I don't stop at the store on the way back (which I often do). It's not bad though, I listen to the radio (Bluegrass, Folk, and sometimes Talk Radio).

RVS-Bluegrass ain't that bad of a way to begin the morning. Bluegrass and a cup o joe is a pretty dang good to way to see the sun rise, now that I think about it.

    365-Glad I could help.
